Delegation consisting of 30 members of CII Ludhiana Zone visited Highway Industries Limited

Ludhiana, January 24, 2024: A delegation consisting of 30 Members of CII Ludhiana Zone visited Highway Industries Limited, Ludhiana to see the latest Automated technologies and overwhelm working culture adopted by the industry. 

Rishi Pahwa, Chairman, CII, Ludhiana Zone and JMD Avon Cycles Limited said that members saw a highly motivated Team Management and workforce, perfect Lean manufacturing process, TPM, and new product development as well as the company’s vision & key focus areas finding new opportunities in the Domestic and International markets. In Highway, impressive use of ERP Software and great management of space were observed. Industry 4.0 & Lean manufacturing process were really well implemented. 

Randeep Bhogal, Convenor, CII Ludhiana Zone and other Senior Members shared that it was an eye-opening industrial visit to Highway Industries, where they set up advanced machines for development and latest equipment’s producing the best varieties of product range.

Umesh Munjal, Managing Director of Highway Industries Limited interacted with the delegation and shared about the numerous key initiatives, taken by them for growth and effective management and also shared that People Development and Manufacturing Excellence are the key factors of success.
