Ludhiana, February 24, 2014: A delegation of 22 members of Bicycle Research & Development Organisation (BRADO) is going to Taiwan for 27th Taipei Cycle show to be held from  5 to 8 March 2014 for technology transfer.
According to Gurmeet Singh Kular, General Secretary, Bicycle Research & Development Organisation (BRADO), the delegation will focus on the high end cycle like alloy & carbon cycle  which is not manufactured in India. The huge demand of high end cycle is in Europe, said Manjinder singh Sachdeva, President, BRADO.
Delegation will also study parts such as de-railer, shifter, disc-brake, alloy frame, alloy fork alloy rims, carbon frame fork which are not manufactured in India will also be focused because in Indian fancy cycles all these parts are imported.
They said Ludhiana cycle industry has been mainly focusing on old traditional roadster models which were only for domestic consumption. But now with increasing globalisation and tough competition from international market India have to make high-end cycles & high-end parts with cost effective, if these parts are available in India then India can feed the entire world, said Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman, BRADO.
The delegation will visit 4 factories in Taiwan folding cycles, alloy frame, fork & rims  machinery manufacturers.
BRADO has taken this important initiative to feed high-end cycle from India to the entire world.//
