Delegates from many  countries, including Russia, Indonesia, Turkey, and the USA, have arrived at Gaggal airport in Dharamsala for the upcoming G-20 meeting.

Delegates for G20 meet start arriving in Dharamshala

Dharamshala, April 18, 2023: Delegates from many  countries, including Russia, Indonesia, Turkey, and the USA, have arrived at Gaggal airport in Dharamsala for the upcoming G-20 meeting. The meeting, which will take place on April 19th and 20th, is a significant event for the region, with representatives from 70 countries expected to participate.

The G20 delegates are being given a warm welcome in accordance with Himachali traditions, with RS Bali, the vice-chairman of HP Tourism Development Board with Cabinet rank, Members of Parliament Indu Goswami, Kishan Kapoor, and ex-minister and present MLA of Dharamsala Sudhir Sharma, Assembly members Vipin Singh Parmar and Kewal Singh Pathania present to greet them upon their arrival at Gaggal Airport on Tuesday.

The Kangra District administration has indicated that all delegates are expected to arrive in Dharamshala by this evening. To mark the occasion, special decorations have been put up throughout Dharamshala city, including the Gaggal airport and buildings on both sides of the National Highway and other roads.

The G-20 Summit promises to be an exciting and important event for the region, and the warm welcome given to the delegates reflects the hospitality and enthusiasm of the local community
