Mumbai, August 17, 2025: Global India Couture Week (GICW), one of India’s most prestigious fashion platforms, is set to launch its Mumbai Model Auditions with a stellar jury lineup. This year’s panel welcomes Supermodel Deepti Gujral and acclaimed Bollywood talk show host and actor Karan Singh Chhabra, bringing a dynamic mix of industry experience and star power to the selection process.
The auditions will take place on 18 August 2025 at NESCO, Goregaon, leading up to the main event—Global India Couture Week 2025—scheduled from 18 to 21 September at the same venue.
A prominent face in the Indian fashion industry, Deepti Gujral has been a supermodel for years and has walked the ramp at all major fashion weeks in India and internationally. Her unmatched experience and eye for talent make her an invaluable addition to the GICW jury.
Karan Singh Chhabra’s inclusion in the jury signifies a full-circle moment, having begun his career in modeling before transitioning into acting, hosting and owning a talent agency, His journey from backstage to runway and now the jury table adds a unique perspective to the evaluation process.
Joining Gujral and Chhabra on the panel are Satyajit Mohanty, Managing Director of GICW, and Sidhharth Behera, Director of Operations, along with other eminent personalities from the fashion industry.
The Mumbai auditions are expected to draw top modeling aspirants from across the region, serving as a launchpad for fresh talent who will grace the runway during September’s grand couture showcase—an iconic celebration of Indian fashion, design, and creativity.
