Rohtak, May 5, 2024: Congress candidate Deepender Hooda attacked BJP on Sunday as he questioned BJP’s ability to solve people’s problems as the BJP was a problem in itself. He said this time the sound of Rohtak's victory will be heard in the entire country, and the victory will lay the foundation of the next government of Haryana.

Deepender on Sunday, campaigned in villages Khedi-Sadh, Baliana, Naunand, Kharavad, Karaur, Pahravaar, Mayna, Shimli, Karaundha, Kabulpur, Ritoli, Baland, Garnavathi, Kakrana, Sundana, Balmab, Madoudi Rangdan, Madoudi Jatan of Kalanaur constituency. Accompanied by Kalanaur MLA Shakuntala Khatak, he appealed to vote in favour of Congress.

Deepender asked what was the reason that Metro was standing at Bahadurgarh for 10 years, while Noida Metro, Greater Noida and RRTS had reached Meerut. He accused the BJP government of neglecting the development of the area and said while we are going among the people on the basis of the work done by us, BJP government should tell the public about their work of last 10 years and BJP MPs for last 5 years.

Deepender made people pledged for 100 percent voting and assured them that with the support and blessings, this time he will bring the Metro across Rohtak and will carry forward all the stalled development works in the area.

He said there is BJP government both at the Center and in the state, but neither any new investment has come into Haryana, nor any new project has come, nor any new factory or industry has been set up. “The BJP government moved the international airport of Meham to Jewar in Uttar Pradesh. This international airport was to be built just a few kilometers away from Kalanaur,” he said.

“Similarly, the BJP government also took the Rail Coach Factory project to another state. I worked hard to get these big projects approved by the then UPA government at the Center and bring them to the area. This would have provided employment to lakhs of people, but the BJP government took away lakhs of jobs from Haryana along with Meham International Airport and Rail Coach Factory,” he added.

“Today 30 lakh posts are lying vacant in the Central Government and 2 lakh posts are lying vacant in Haryana. The youth of Haryana are facing the highest unemployment rate in the country and are forced to go to foreign countries illegally for work, risking their lives. During the 10 years of rule, BJP has made Haryana the center of crime and unemployment,” he stated.

Deepender said due to record inflation, unemployment, corruption, drug addiction and breakdown of law and order in the state, the common Haryana resident is living in an atmosphere of fear.

Congress candidate said that if the Congress government comes to power at the Centre, the eldest woman of every household will get Rs 1 lakh a year through the Grihalakshmi scheme. “When the Congress government is formed, there will be permanent recruitment on 30 lakh vacant government posts at the Centre. After ending the Agneepath scheme, we will start permanent recruitment in the army and will make the recruited Agniveer permanent,” he said.

Reiterating the agenda of the Congress Party in Haryana, he said when the Congress government is formed in Haryana, an old age pension of Rs 6000 will be given. “Every family will be given 300 units of free electricity, that is, if it is more than 300 units, it will be counted from 1 unit. LPG cylinder for Rs 500 to every home-maker, old pension to employees, scheme of free plot of 100 square yards for poor, backward and Dalit families will be started again, Rs 3.5 lakh for construction of houses under Indira Awas Yojana,” he stated.

“By ending temporary recruitment policy in Haryana, time bound and permanent recruitment will start on 2 lakh posts, along with reservation and pension. We will guarantee MSP to farmers. People will get ownership rights on the plots found on Panchayati land in Kalanaur. We will come up with a policy to make sanitation workers, rural watchmen, MNREGA permanent. We will increase the rights of Asha workers, Anganwadi and Panchayat sarpanches,” he promised.
