Declamation contest on theme of patriotism

Jalandhar, October 12, 2019: A declamation contest on the theme of Patriotism and Nation Building was held at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar.
The program, jointly organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Jalandhar and Centre for Communication Skills, Lyallpur Khalsa College was duly held in line with the ‘Sab ka saath, Sab ka vikas’ initiative put forth by the Union Government.
Chief Guest for this occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra was given a flowery welcome by Prof. Ahuja Sandeep, Coordinator, Centre for Communication Skills and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, program Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Samra congratulated all the participant students for their general awareness levels and encouraged them to keep up their efforts in the same field. Declamation program was judged by Sanjan Massan, Kuldip Angrish, Dr. Surinderpal Mand and Prof. Satpal Singh. After a well contested round of declamation, Sakshi, Karanjit and Simran were given the top three honors respectively.
Coordinator of the Centre for Communication Skills, Prof. Ahuja Sandeep also informed that Bubly Jha, student of Lyallpur Khalsa College has already earned national level reviews in such efforts during the previous editions of the same contest while other talented students of the college are also coming of leaps and bounds in the same direction.
