DEATH: Youth found dead in women’s College

Ferozeur , January 11, 2013: A dead body of a young man was found in the campus of DAV College for Women, Ferozepur with visible signs of wounds on the forehead and face smeared with blood perhaps given a hit on the face.

The victim has been identified as Ajay Kumar alias Giyani 22, a resident of Basti Tankan Wali.

The watchman of the College reportedly noticed the body lying in a pool of blood in the campus, placed on a cloth before he was done to death. The matter was reported to the police.

As per the information, the college management claimed that victim was a thief, who had entered the college with intention of stealing valuables and might have slipped from the wall and died. 

The police, however, sent the body for post-mortem in the local civil hospital after initiating the preliminary proceedings.

However, the family members of the victim have accused the police for getting the signatures of Bharat Kumar, brother of victim, on blank paper.  They fear that this might have been done to save the management of the college. However, Vibhour Sharma, DSP (City) assured the grieved family to look into all the aspects on the mysterious death, after the receipt of report of post-mortem.
