DCST Ludhiana Division conducted 11 inspections of various firms engaging in suspicious transactions and suspected of suppression of sales

Ludhiana, May 27, 2022: As per the directions from Taxation Commissioner, Kamal Kishore Yadav (IAS) and under the guidance of DCST Ludhiana Division, Randhir Kaur, Harsimrat Kaur Grewal (ACST Ludhiana-1), Shinee Singh (ACST Ludhiana-2), Sumandeep Kaur (ACST Ludhiana-4), Payal Goyal (ACST Ludhiana-5) and Harpreet Singh (ACST FGS) conducted 11 inspections of various firms engaging in suspicious transactions and suspected of suppression of sales. 

Team comprising of Deepak Ghai, Gurinderjit Singh, Amandeep Singh, Dilpreet Singh, Charanjit Singh, Dharminder, Bharat Sharma, Jasmeet Singh, Deepinder Kaur, Pardeep Kumar, State Tax Officers and Rishi Verma, Nazir Singh, Balkar Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Amandeep Kumar and other supporting staff.

The inspections were carried out at Village Rauni, Khanna, Kashmir Nagar, Girja Ghar Chowk, Chaura Bazaar Mandi Gobindgarh and Fatehgarh Sahib. The taxable persons were dealing in Iron & Steel, Building Material, Hosiery and Tobacco Products. The officers relevant documents during the course of action in connection with unaccounted stock and suppression of sales. These inspections were conducted following the due procedure prescribed under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
