DCM Presidency School, Elementary Campus School organized Orientation-cum-Induction Programme

Ludhiana, March 16, 2022: D. C. M Presidency School , Elementary Campus School organized an Orientation cum Induction programme on 15th March & 16th March , 2022 for the new set of parents to familiarize them, “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.

The Orientation began with the thought  "A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.”

Head Elementary, Ms. Reuben Chahal,  While welcoming parents for the new session spoke at length about the benefits of effective communication between parents and teachers, she emphasized a strong connection with the school patrons.

School Senior Coordinator- Ms. Ekta Singhania briefed the parents about the rules and regulations of the school that needs to be followed with letter and spirit.

Later, Asst Coordinator Ms. Sonal Arora gave an overview of academics & activities that would be undertaken in the year ahead.  The co-scholastic activities were also discussed that  gave the parents an idea of the self-directed curriculum with hands-on learning activities that will provide our students a medium to fully utilize their creative talents and energies and help them in their all-round development.

An interactive session on Good Parenting & Nutrition was also conducted by  Dr. Sarah & Dr. Arunita from Fortis hospital,   Dr. Jaspreet Kohli from  Asees health care & Dr. Dushyant from Aykai hospital.

The orientation program proved to be a great success and was appreciated by everyone.
