DCM Group of Schools CEO Dr Anirudh Gupta honoured with LMA – Dayanand Munjal Award for Manager of the Year 2021 

Ludhiana, December 20, 2022: The Ludhiana Management Association organized its 44th Anniversary and award function here today. The Governor of Punjab, Banwarilal Purohit was the distinguished guest. Shobhan Soi, General Secretary, LMA in his welcome address thanked him for sparing his valuable time to confer the Annual awards instituted by Ludhiana Management Association. The event was conducted to facilitate the blazing industrialists and entrepreneurs of Ludhiana. 

LMA, which started in 1978 is a multi-directional organization which focuses on education, training and many other aspects. The awards presented by LMA reflect gratitude, recognize excellence and motivate the youth.

V.K Goyal, Chairman of the Annual Awards Committee, presided over the awards function. The following awards were presented: 

(I)    LMA – Vardhman Award for Entrepreneur of the Year 2021

(II)    LMA – Dayanand Munjal Award for Manager of the Year 2021
           Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO- DCM Group of Schools, Ludhiana

(III)    LMA–Trident Award for Young Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year 2021
          Somveer S. Anand – CEO The Innovative Mission Punjab

(IV)      LMA – Hari Chand Award for Corporate Citizen of the Year 2021

  Rama Munjal, Founder- Arpita Cancer Society for Children, Ludhiana

(V)    LMA – Sohan Lal Pahwa Award for Emerging SME of the Year 2021

         Rishi Gupta, MD Kova Fasteners Pvt. Ltd, Ludhiana

(VI)    LMA – Sat Paul Mittal Life Time Achievement Award of the Year 2021
         Subhash Chander Ralhan, Director- SRI Tools Industries Ltd, Ludhiana


Governor in his speech commended the work of Ludhiana Management Association and its accomplishment over the past decades. He said it was appreciable how the LMA as a body had put in continuous efforts in establishing better environment for growth for management academics, entrepreneurs, and its individual members. He also congratulated the award winners on this occasion and said that their work was an inspiration for generations to come. He urged LMA members to contribute and strengthen business community and research efforts for better development. 


About 300 leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, academicians, business men and women attended the function. Important dignitaries from the public administration offices also joined the event. The membership landscape over the period stands out vividly, since LMA has become one of the most outstanding management association in Northern India with more than 550 leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, top management executives, management academicians, bankers, & professionals. 

The event was concluded with presidential remarks by Neeraj Jain, President LMA, a vote of thanks by Harpreet k. Kang Sr. Vice President LMA and memento was presented to the Governor by Gaurav Munjal, Vice President LMA
