DC Sachin Gupta urges Antyodaya families to avail the benefits of DAYALU Scheme
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has urged the Antyodaya families of the district to avail the maximum benefit of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (DAYALU). This is an important scheme of the Haryana Government, under which financial assistance is provided to the family in case of the death or permanent disability of a member.

Rohtak, September 4, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has urged the Antyodaya families of the district to avail the maximum benefit of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana (DAYALU). This is an important scheme of the Haryana Government, under which financial assistance is provided to the family in case of the death or permanent disability of a member.
DC Sachin Gupta stated that the objective of the DAYALU scheme is to provide socio-financial security to eligible families. Under this scheme, Antyodaya families receive economic and social support upon the death or permanent disability of a family member. To qualify, the family’s annual income must be less than ₹1.80 lakh. The scheme applies in case of death or permanent disability of a family member aged between 6 years and 60 years. The financial assistance varies according to the age of the individual at the time of death or disability.
He added that applications must be submitted within three months from the date of death or permanent disability. The scheme is completely free of cost. Financial assistance includes Rs. 1 lakh for ages 6–12 years, Rs. 2 lakh for ages 12–18 years, Rs. 3 lakh for ages 18–25 & 45-60 and years Rs. 5 lakh for ages 25–45 years.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that applications for the DAYALU scheme must be submitted online at the portal dapsy.finhry.gov.in. Applicants need to enter their PPP ID number and click on OTP. After entering and submitting the OTP, the family details will be displayed. The beneficiary must then fill in all required personal details and submit the form. He urged citizens to be cautious of agents and fraud while availing of the scheme.
