DC Sachin Gupta orders Strict Action Against LPG Gas Black Marketing, Hoarding, or Unauthorized Use

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that strict action will be initiated if any instances of black marketing, hoarding, or unauthorized use of LPG gas are detected. The district administration is continuously monitoring the smooth operation of LPG gas supply, and in this regard, nodal officers have also been appointed.

Rohtak, March 19, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that strict action will be initiated if any instances of black marketing, hoarding, or unauthorized use of LPG gas are detected. The district administration is continuously monitoring the smooth operation of LPG gas supply, and in this regard, nodal officers have also been appointed.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed the concerned officials to ensure strict action in this matter. He said that, to ensure the effective implementation of this task, Assistant Food and Supply Officers have been designated as nodal officers; they will ensure the prompt redressal of LPG-related complaints within their respective jurisdictions.

Under the issued orders, Ashok Kumar, Assistant Food and Supply Officer for Rohtak, has been appointed as the nodal officer for the Rohtak and Sampla areas, while Kusum Lata, Assistant Food and Supply Officer for Meham, has been appointed as the nodal officer for the Meham, Kalanaur, and Lakhanmajra areas.

The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the general public that, If they have any complaints regarding the black marketing or irregularities in the supply of LPG gas, they should contact the concerned nodal officer or the district-level helpline number: 01262-269895. He further directed the officials to resolve complaints on a priority basis and to ensure strict legal action against the offenders, so that consumers do not face any inconvenience.
