DC Sachin Gupta directs to organize Awareness Activities in Every Ward for Cleanliness and Beautification of City
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed that awareness activities related to cleanliness be organized in all city wards. The DC was addressing a meeting of officials at the Mini Secretariat regarding the cleanliness campaign and city beautification plan being implemented as per the Chief Minister’s directions.
Rohtak, November 12, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed that awareness activities related to cleanliness be organized in all city wards. The DC was addressing a meeting of officials at the Mini Secretariat regarding the cleanliness campaign and city beautification plan being implemented as per the Chief Minister’s directions.
DC Sachin Gupta said that from November 15 to 25, cleanliness awareness activities will be held in all wards of the city. College principals have been instructed to form cultural teams for each of the city’s 22 wards. As per the schedule, student teams from various colleges will visit their assigned wards and organize cultural programs to raise public awareness about cleanliness.
He added that responsibilities of HCS officers at the ward level have already been defined for the city beautification drive. The DC directed all HCS officers to visit their respective areas, inspect cleanliness and beautification work, and submit their reports. He instructed that main roads be inspected on priority to ensure there are no Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs). He also asked officers to check whether door-to-door garbage collection vehicles are reaching all areas properly. In addition, the number of garbage dumping points in the city should be reduced.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that fines should be imposed on anyone spreading filth or littering in public places. Issuing directions on central verges, street lighting, horticulture, wall paintings, and rainwater drainage, he said that keeping the city clean and beautiful is a shared responsibility of all citizens and departments.
