DC Sachin Gupta directs to focus on making Rohtak the most beautiful city of the state

Rohtak, August 27, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed the engineering department officials to prepare an action plan to make the city clean and beautiful. The Deputy Commissioner was receiving feedback from the concerned department officials regarding the ongoing cleanliness campaign in the district this evening in the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat.
DCSachin Gupta took the progress reports from officers deployed in different areas for the cleanliness campaign and issued necessary directions. The officers informed that the campaign is being carried out strongly and positive results are visible. He said that under this campaign, a survey is also being conducted by nodal officers regarding cleanliness, roads, sewer, drinking water, and drainage of rainwater.
The Deputy Commissioner said that immediate steps should be taken to resolve the problems coming before the nodal officers. Along with this, an action plan should also be prepared for their permanent solution. He said that engineering department officials should issue short-term tenders for road, garbage, and sewer works. He directed that the concerned department officers must complete all works related to their respective roads and make the city beautiful. He stressed that all must focus on making Rohtak the most beautiful city in the state. The nodal officers presented their reports.
Those present in the meeting included Municipal Commissioner Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, ASP YVR Shashi Shekhar, Special Officer (Sanitation) Pradeep Kaushik, Rohtak SDM Ashish Kumar, RTA Secretary Virender Singh Dhull, MD Sugar Mill Shweta Suhag, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar, General Manager Transport Vipin Kumar, OSD to Divisional Commissioner Shubham, DRO Pramod Chahal, and DDPO Rajpal Chahal along with senior officers of related departments.
