Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed all officers to ensure the immediate and effective disposal of all pending complaints from 2024–25 received through Samadhan Shivirs, emphasizing the need for time-bound and permanent grievance redressal.
Rohtak, April 6, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed all officers to ensure the immediate and effective disposal of all pending complaints from 2024–25 received through Samadhan Shivirs, emphasizing the need for time-bound and permanent grievance redressal.
He was addressing officers while hearing public grievances during a Samadhan Shivir held at the Mini Secretariat, Rohtak. The Deputy Commissioner said that if any complaint from 2024–25 remains pending in any department, it must be resolved without delay. He emphasized that officers should personally interact with complainants, clearly communicate the action taken, and ensure citizen satisfaction, so that grievances are resolved in a sustainable manner.
He further directed that the process of redressal should begin immediately upon receipt of complaints in the Shivirs, ensuring quick and efficient resolution. Highlighting the initiative, he said that as per the directions of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Samadhan Shivirs are being organized every Monday and Thursday from 10 AM to 12 noon at district and sub-divisional headquarters, with senior officers present to initiate action on complaints on the spot.
He added that the district administration is regularly monitoring the disposal of complaints to ensure accountability and efficiency. Samadhan Shivirs were also held at Sampla and Meham subdivisions, where senior officers heard grievances and issued necessary directions.
The Samadhan Shivir was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar, DSP Gulab Singh, DDPO Rajpal Chahal, DMC Jitender Singh, other senior officials, and public representatives.
The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the administration is committed to responsive governance and prompt redressal of citizens’ grievances.
