DC Sachin Gupta directs to complete renovation work of the Civil Hospital within stipulated time

He inspected the ongoing works at the hospital today and issued necessary instructions. During the inspection, he emphasized that special attention must be given to the quality of work. He also directed that patients should not face any inconvenience during the renovation and beautification works.

Rohtak, August 27, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed that the beautification and renovation work of the local Civil Hospital should be completed within the stipulated time. He inspected the ongoing works at the hospital today and issued necessary instructions. During the inspection, he emphasized that special attention must be given to the quality of work. He also directed that patients should not face any inconvenience during the renovation and beautification works.

He said that under the directions of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, beautification and renovation of district hospitals are being carried out to improve healthcare services. The Chief Minister has clearly instructed that modern facilities, similar to those available in private hospitals, should also be provided in civil hospitals. Under this initiative, the Civil Hospital in Rohtak is undergoing renovation, repair, and upgrading of modern facilities.

DC Sachin Gupta said that as per the government-provided budget, more than ₹4.57 crore will be spent on special repairs, ₹55 lakh on ICU repairs, ₹2.15 crore on fire-fighting arrangements, and over ₹20.48 lakh on replacing faulty VCB systems. After the upgrade, patients visiting the hospital will receive much better medical services. Additional Deputy Commissioner Narendra Kumar, Civil Surgeon Dr. Ramesh Chandra Arya, and other health officials were present during the inspection.

OPD services for psychiatry, dental, and ENT shifted temporarily to Sector 3 Polyclinic for one week due to repair works.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Ramesh Chandra informed that due to ongoing repair works at the local Civil Hospital, the OPDs for psychiatry, dental, and ENT have been temporarily shifted to the Polyclinic at Sector 3 for one week. Consultations and medicines related to the above mention will be available there during this period. After one week, once repair work is completed, these OPDs will be shifted back to the Civil Hospital.
