DC Sachin Gupta directs to carry out Drainage Work with Full Capacity
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed that the drainage capacity be further enhanced in the coming days. The Deputy Commissioner was inspecting the monsoon water drainage works today in the Kalanaur area. He inspected the Lakhan Majra Link Drain and Meham Drain falling under this area and issued necessary directions.

Rohtak, September 13, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed that the drainage capacity be further enhanced in the coming days. The Deputy Commissioner was inspecting the monsoon water drainage works today in the Kalanaur area. He inspected the Lakhan Majra Link Drain and Meham Drain falling under this area and issued necessary directions.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta first reached Lakhanmajra Link Drain Road 6100 on the Rohtak-Bhiwani Road. On-site, he inspected the water flow of the drain. Irrigation Department officials informed that the drain is flowing properly. In the coming days, the capacity will increase further. Thereafter, he inspected the Meham Drain at College Mode, where water was being pumped into the drain for drainage. The flow in this drain was also satisfactory.
DC Sachin Gupta also inspected the drainage work being carried out from agricultural land in village Anwal. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the pump house installed at Meham Drain near village Garhi. He further inspected the KCB Drain near village Chhara. Issuing directions, he said that the drainage capacity should be increased on a daily basis and as soon as the water level in the drains goes down, the drainage capacity should be raised to 100 percent. Officials from the Irrigation Department informed that around 20 pump sets are continuously engaged in water drainage on Meham and Drain No. 8.
During the inspection, Rohtak SDM Ashish Kumar, DRO Pramod Chahal, DDPO Rajpal Chahal, XEN of Irrigation Department Arun Munjal, Rajiv Rathi, and others were present.
