Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed the concerned officers to complete all preparations for the boxing competition being organized in Rohtak from November 3 to 7 by the Haryana Olympic Association. The Association will hold the state-level Haryana Olympics across the state from November 2 to 8, with the inauguration scheduled for November 2 in Gurugram.

Rohtak, October 14, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed the concerned officers to complete all preparations for the boxing competition being organized in Rohtak from November 3 to 7 by the Haryana Olympic Association. The Association will hold the state-level Haryana Olympics across the state from November 2 to 8, with the inauguration scheduled for November 2 in Gurugram.

DC Sachin Gupta was presiding over a review meeting in his office located at the Mini Secretariat regarding the preparations for the competitions being organized by the Haryana Olympic Association. During the meeting, he held detailed discussions with the Association’s Vice President Major Satyapal Sindhu regarding the arrangements for the events and reviewed the preparations made by the Association.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that the boxing competition for boys and girls will be held in Rohtak from November 3 to 7 at the NVA Boxing Hall of local Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium. Around 320 players are expected to participate in this event.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the officials from the Sports Department and Sports Authority of India to ensure proper arrangements for accommodation, transportation, security, and food for the players so that they face no inconvenience. He also directed Municipal Corporation Joint Commissioner Manjeet Kumar to prepare tenders through the Sports Department for the cleanliness and maintenance of Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium.

On this occasion, Haryana Boxing Association General Secretary Ombeer Hooda, Municipal Corporation Joint Commissioner Manjeet Kumar, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar, Deputy Director of Sports Sunita Khatri, District Sports Officer Anoop Singh, and Boxing Coach Naveen Kumar were present.
