DC Sachin Gupta directs Concerned Departments to Ensure Facilities in Industrial Areas; Grievances to Be Resolved on Priority
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that all concerned departments have been directed to ensure the availability of basic civic and industrial facilities in all industrial areas of Rohtak, and that issues raised by industrial associations must be addressed promptly through effective inter-departmental coordination.
Rohtak, February 28, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that all concerned departments have been directed to ensure the availability of basic civic and industrial facilities in all industrial areas of Rohtak, and that issues raised by industrial associations must be addressed promptly through effective inter-departmental coordination.
Chairing a coordination meeting with representatives of industrial associations and officers of HSIIDC, Municipal Corporation, Police, Power Utilities, MSME and other departments at the Mini Secretariat, the Deputy Commissioner said that industrial areas require focused administrative attention, as they are key drivers of employment and economic activity.
He reviewed the status of infrastructure in IDC Hisar Road, IDC Kutana and IMT Rohtak, and directed officers to ensure time-bound action on matters related to electricity supply, drinking water, sewerage, storm water drainage, internal roads, sanitation and safety.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that departments must maintain regular and structured coordination with industrial associations, and that concerns raised by them should be treated as service-delivery issues requiring immediate attention. Officers were instructed to remain in continuous communication with association representatives and to keep them informed about progress on works.
He said that grievances of industrial units will be monitored department-wise, and that no issue should remain unresolved due to lack of coordination or delay in decision-making. The Deputy Commissioner directed the immediate removal of unauthorised encroachments in industrial areas, strengthening of traffic discipline, including action against wrong-side driving, enhanced police patrolling during peak hours, closure of unauthorised roadside shops affecting movement and safety.
He also reviewed construction quality in the under-construction community centre at IDC Kutana and directed strict adherence to approved specifications.
DC Sachin Gupta said that all concerned departments will be held accountable for timely delivery of services in industrial areas, and that issues raised by associations will continue to be reviewed in coordination meetings. He reiterated that grievance redressal and infrastructure upkeep in industrial areas remain a priority of the district administration, and officers must ensure visible improvement on ground.
Officers of HSIIDC, Municipal Corporation, Police Department, Power Utilities, MSME Department and representatives of industrial associations were present in the meeting.
