Rohtak, February 7, 2026: DC Sachin Gupta informed that the Prime Minister’s National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) will be organised on 9 February 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at the Soldiers’ Family Hall near the Tehsil complex, in the campus of the Government Industrial Training Institute Rohtak.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the objective of the apprenticeship fair is to provide youth with training and employment opportunities in industrial and commercial establishments. It was highlighted that under the Apprentices Act, industries and establishments are required to engage 2.5 to 15 per cent apprentices of their total workforce.
He urged the youth to participate in large numbers and explore the apprenticeship opportunities being offered by various institutions. The district administration reiterated its commitment to empowering youth through structured training and industry linkages.
