DC reviews preparations for Mega Light and Sound Show on Nov 14

Ludhiana, Nov 13, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Thursday reviewed the ongoing preparations for the mega Light and Sound Show scheduled to be held at Mela Ground of PAU on November 14.

The event is being organised by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
 
Jain examined various arrangements for the mega event, including security, traffic management, venue cleanliness, parking arrangements, uninterrupted power supply, deployment of medical teams, and etc. He directed the police and civic departments to make elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the event so that devotees do not face any inconvenience.

Divulging details, the Deputy Commissioner informed that the 45-minute Light and Sound Show will present a captivating digital depiction of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life, legacy, teachings, and supreme sacrifice. He added that the presentation will offer devotees an immersive experience that beautifully portrays Guru Sahib’s philosophy of peace, tolerance, and universal brotherhood.  

The DC further stated that this show will serve as a profound tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s enduring message of humanity and compassion. 

Jain also exhorted the residents of the district to attend the Light and Sound Show with their families to learn about the Guru’s life, philosophy, and supreme sacrifice. The entry for the show will start at 5 pm on Friday, and the devotees can enter without any pass as it will be a open entry for everyone.
