Ludhiana: In view of raising awareness among public to wear masks, washing hands properly and keep recommended social distancing, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma awarded “Appreciation Certificate” to DMCH team including Dr Bishav Mohan, Dr Anurag Chaudhary, Dr Hitant Vohra, Dr Sarit Sharma, Dr Sonia Singh, Dr Kirandeep Kaur, Dr Seema Gupta, Dr Pranjal Sharma and Dr Arvind Goyal.
In his message, Varinder Sharma affirmed that the medical fraternity of the city played a great role in making people about various precautions to limit the spread of COVID pandemic.
Department of Community Medicine under the headship of Dr Anurag Chaudhary was specially acknowledged for conducting wide scale rapid antigen test under the flagship project of ‘Mission Fateh’ of Punjab State Government.
Dr Bishav Mohan, Medical Supdt., HDHI, who was a key force in spreading awareness during COVID crisis, said that was purely the result of dedicated team work of both medical and paramedical staff to bring positive results in curbing the spread of COVID pandemic.
