Ludhiana, Nov 14, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Friday launched the official website of the Red Cross Society at a special ceremony held at the Dr. Mamohan Singh Auditorium, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU).
The launch was a significant step forward in strengthening community engagement and enhancing the district’s humanitarian response capabilities.
During the event, the Deputy Commissioner also unveiled the soulful theme song of Red Cross Ludhiana titled "Red Cross Di Roshni," composed by Shivam Gulati with its inspiring video edited by Ivraj. The theme song beautifully reflects the spirit of service, compassion, and solidarity upheld by the Red Cross volunteers.
The newly launched website, redcrossludhiana.org, is designed to enhance public access to Red Cross services and initiatives in Ludhiana, furthering transparency and volunteer engagement. The initiative marks a renewed commitment to public health and community service, reinforcing Ludhiana’s role as a city that cares.
The Deputy Commissioner highlighted that these efforts would deepen the reach of the Red Cross movement, encourage volunteer participation, and foster a culture of preparedness across Ludhiana. The event witnessed the presence of officials, volunteers, and prominent community members united in their dedication to serve humanity.
