DC honours most promising young entrepreneurs of Ludhiana

Ludhiana, November 14, 2021: In order to give impetus to the local economy and rekindle the spirit of entrepreneurship in this industrial hub of Punjab in the post COVID times, an award ceremony was held to felicitate the Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs of Ludhiana who by dint of their hard work, perseverance and resolute approach have achieved glorious success at an early age. While some of these young entrepreneurs have inherited the legacy and the business empires, many of them who were awarded are the first time entrepreneurs who have scaled heights with their own efforts.  The event was organized by DCM Young Entrepreneurs School at Guru Nanak Dev Bhavan, On the sidelines of Speaking Minds Conclave, during which the Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma along with Harish Dayma, IPS, Joint CP Ludhiana, besides, Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Group of Schools, did the honors during a glittering ceremony. 

The awardees included Mr. Rishi Dada (MD, Dada Motors), Mr. Akash Bansal (MD, Rage), Mr. Kamal Wadhera (MD, TCY learning Solutions), Mr. Munish Dua (Director, KG Exports), Mr. Gautam Thapar & Mr. Sumit Thapar (Co- Founders, Thapar Developers), Mr. Gavish Batra & Mr. Nitigya Soni ( Co- Founders, HeeBee), Mr. Raghav Kansal ( Director, Indian Summer Group), Mr. Rohit Puniani ( Director, GK Estate), Ms. Geeta Nagrath (Founder IIFT), Mr. Amitoj Singh ( Owner, Ankara & Iron Chef), Ms. Bhavdeep Kaur ( Owner, Young Berry), Mr. Manik Bajaj ( MD, Just Baked),  Ms. Sukriti Sharma (Owner, Penumbra Media), Mr. Amol Sachdeva (MD, Kohinoor Cycles), Mr. Ujjwal Talwar (Owner, Ujjwal Talwar Hair Styles), and Ms Suvra Nanda ( Owner, Kumon).

While lauding the initiative, DC said that it was high time that these kind of efforts were made to chisel out entrepreneur in every child. DC said that he was sanguine that DCM YES will be able to give fillip to the gap between academia and industry, and further hope that these Young Entrepreneurs will be able to motivate several other youths of Ludhiana to contribute their might to bring industry and create more jobs in Ludhiana and put India amidst the league of most developed nations of the world.

The Joint CP also appreciated the efforts of DCM YES School for organizing the event and celebrating the success of young entrepreneurs of Ludhiana. Mr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO, said that the vision behind DCM YES was to spearhead the spirit of entrepreneurship, so that we can revive the economy of the state. CEO said that education is the growth engine of any economy and if we are able to provide the right kind of education and skills, only then we will be able to achieve the dream of Make in India and Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

Earlier, Mr. Nikhil Neil Sarup, along with Surbhi Joshi welcomed all the awardees and the guests. The event culminated with the keynote address by the CEO followed by a musical concert. It is pertinent to mention that DCM Group of Schools is celebrating its Platinum Jubilee this year and have taken this initiative to set up DCM Young Entrepreneurs School in the heart of Ludhiana to provide contemporary world class education from Grade Nursery onwards to realize “catch them young” spirit so that the kids can be conditioned to achieve success in their career at an early stage itself.
