It was also expressed that more than 500 cases of missing children across the country were solved using Aadhaar.

The children are mandatorily required to update their biometrics in Aadhaar on attaining ages of 5 and 15 years. It may be noted that new enrolments of Aadhaar and mandatory biometric updates of children at the age milestones of 5 and 15 years are free of cost.
