DC directs officials to ensure smooth conduct of NDA/NA and CDS Exam (II)-2025 on Sep 14

Ludhiana, Sep 11, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain on Thursday directed the officials to ensure smooth conduct of NDA/NA (II) - and CDS Exam (II)-2025 on September 14.The exam will be held in 13 centers and 4800 candidates will appear for the exams.

The CDS exam will be held in three shifts from 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm. This will be held at five centers including SCD Govt College (block-A), SCD Govt College (block-B), SCD Govt College (block-D), Ramgarhiya Girls College, Millerganj and SDP College for Women, Daresi Road (Behind Chand Cinema). 

The NDA/NA exam will be held in two sessions ie 10 am to 12:30 am & 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

The exam will be held in Khalsa College for women (sub centre-A), Khalsa College for women (sub centre-B), DAV Public School (BRS Nagar), Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (MBA block), Police DAV Public School (Police Lines), Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School (Kitchlu Nagar), MGM Public School, (Urban Estate Phase-1, Dugri) and BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar. 

While presiding over a meeting, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the exam functionaries, including supervisors, assistant supervisors, venue supervisors, local inspecting officers, police, and other officers must be clear about their role and responsibilities. He instructed the exam functionaries to ensure that any discrepancy hindering the smooth and successful conduct of the examination is avoided while performing their duties. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the above exams with the admit card half an hour before the start of the exam. Detailed important instructions have already been provided by the UPSC along with the Admit Card. 

Adequate police personnel including male and female cops will be deployed at each center and all centers will be covered with frisking by the police department.
