DC deputes three ADCs to expedite Covid-19 vaccination drive in mission mode

Nawanshahr, January 27, 2022: In order to further accelerate Covid vaccination drive in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Thursday deputed three Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) to inoculate every eligible beneficiary of the district as soon as possible.

Reviewing the progress of the immunization drive, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Jasbir Singh would oversee the vaccination drive in Banga, Sujjon and Mukandpur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Amit Sareen would keep watch on the inoculation drive in Nawanshahr, Muzaffarpur and Rahon besides Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Amardeep Singh Bains would supervise the vaccination coverage in Balachaur and Saroya.
 
Further, Sarangal also fixed the target of administrating 12000 doses daily in the district and said that he would personally review the achievements of the targets daily.

He said that three of ADCs would also visit the session sites in their respective areas to ensure proper support to Civil Surgeon Dr Davinder Dhanda and health teams in completion of the target.

Outlining that vaccination is must to combat the Covid-19, he said it is collective responsibility of all stakeholders and urged the people to come forward and get the vaccine.

He asserted that there is need to make this drive a public movement against the Covid pandemic by ensuring aggressive participation of the eligible.

Deputy Commissioner emphasized that those entitled must accept and come forward to receive the vaccine, presuming its duty towards the country in the war against coronavirus.

Sarangal asked the people to strictly follow Covid safety precautions by wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, washing hand frequently.
