DC changes timing of government schools 

Ludhiana: With the second wave of Covid-19 has hit the district with unparalleled ferocity and sharp rise in cases, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma has changed the timing of the government schools. He said that the government schools would now open from 8 am to 11:15 am.
The Deputy Commissioner said that only 50-percent teaching and non-teaching staff would attend the schools. No student or their parents would be called to the school, he added.
He said that these orders would remain in force till the time of curfew imposed in the district to contain the spread of Covid-19.
