DAZN to open Technology Centre of Excellence at Hyderabad

DAZN, the leading global sports streaming service, has announced establishment of a major Technology Centre of Excellence (COE) in Hyderabad. The COE is coming up on their new sprawling 1Lakh square feet office and focus on Sports Streaming Technologies.

Hyderabad, May 24, 2023: DAZN, the leading global sports streaming service, has announced establishment of a major Technology Centre of Excellence (COE) in Hyderabad. The COE is coming up on their new sprawling 1Lakh square feet office and focus on Sports Streaming Technologies.


The DAZN aims to invest Rs. 200 crores on this new India Development Centre in Hyderabad and recruit 1000 people by December 2023. Having started operations around five months ago, the company already has over 350 people working who recently moved to a state-of-the art office. This number will be further ramped up to ~2500 by December 2024. 


Speaking on the occasion, Shay Segev, CEO – DAZN Group said: “We are very happy to set up the Technology COE in Hyderabad. The additional technical capability that it provides will accelerate our development roadmap to become the ultimate sports entertainment company. I would like to thank the Govt. of Telangana –K T Rama Rao, Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, MAUD & his team of dedicated officers for their steadfast support in setting the establishment of our development centre.”
