Days bright and sunny but nights cold and freezing in Himachal

Dharamshala, January 6, 2018: The sun still providing winter warmth to residents of Himachal by shining brightly in the state these days while a thick blanket of fog forcing public of larger area of the Northern Indian plains including the NCR.
Hill stations of Himachal including Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Dalhousie and Kasouli etc are observing sunny and warm days owing to clear weather, while many cities are reeling under cold wave conditions with the sun fogged out.

Hill destinations have been experiencing long hours of sunny weather for over a week and the day temperatures in most places have risen. The meteorological department of the state predicts that the dry weather would prevail till January 15.
But as soon as the sun sets the intense cold wave gripes the state till the rise of the sun the next morning.
