Ludhiana, October 12, 2019: The final day of PCTE- Koshish-2019, An Intra College competition started on a high note with energetic performances by the students in various events like Nukkad Natak, International Group Dance by Senior Wing, Fashion Show by Junior Wing and a mesmerizing evening by Mr. Jasbir Jassi.

The fest celebrated the joy of enjoying a great college-campus life where the finale of the most awaited pageant PCTE Mr. and Miss. Ludhiana announced the winners. Sarthak & Sunaina won the title of PCTE Mr. Ludhiana 2019 & PCTE Miss. Ludhiana 2019. Tejveer Singh Grewal & Vanshika won the title of PCTE Mr. Runner Up 2019 and PCTE Miss. Runner Up 2019; Kulwinder Singh & Tavcharan won the title of PCTE Mr. Model 2019 & PCTE Miss. Model 2019. In Situational Act (Senior Wing), the first position was bagged by MBA-2B, the second position was bagged by MBA1 A and the third position was bagged by B. Pharmacy 4th yr & M. Pharmacy. In Western Group Dance (Junior Wing), the first position was by B. Pharmacy 2nd Year, the second position was bagged by B. Tech 1st Year and the third position was bagged by B.Comm 1 A

In the fashion show, the students showcased their dresses on themes like coral which depicted the underwater sea life; modern technology that depicted the indulgent of people in today’s era in various gadgets and so on. In Nukad Natak, the students acted on various topics like unemployment problems that the society is facing and also addressed the problem of corruption in context to jobs, other topics were on population, sex education and so on. Nandani Arora, a student from BAJMC 1st Year said that she participated in Nukkad Natak and performing in front of everyone was amazing and brought a lot of confidence, she added by saying that the event also helped the entire class to work as a team.

In Turf 2019, group dance event the first position was bagged by Spring Dale School, the second position was bagged by BCM Arya Model School and the third position was bagged by DAV School, Pakhowal.

The finale came to an end with a joyous evening witnessing a live performance by the Renowned Punjabi singer Mr. Jasbir Jassi.

Appreciating the huge number of teams in the event, Dr. KNS Kang, Director-General said, “The number of teams has increased from the last year’s which is definitely a positive sign. We focus on providing a wonderful platform to the students coming from different schools and colleges to showcase their talent in various events. While addressing the students He said that it isn’t about winning or losing, it’s about participating and cherishing those everlasting memories.
