Day 2: Sharda University Sparks Innovation of Internal Hackathon for SIH 2025 

Day 2 of the Internal Hackathon 2025 at Sharda University built upon the excitement and innovation of Day 1, with teams presenting their refined solutions in front of a distinguished panel of faculty and mentors. A total of 108 teams participated in this final round of internal evaluation.

Greater Noida, September 24, 2025: Day 2 of the Internal Hackathon 2025 at Sharda University built upon the excitement and innovation of Day 1, with teams presenting their refined solutions in front of a distinguished panel of faculty and mentors. A total of 108 teams participated in this final round of internal evaluation.
The evaluation panel included eminent faculty and experts such as Prof. (Dr.) Sibaram Khara (Vice-Chancellor), Prof. (Dr.) Parma Nand (Pro Vice-Chancellor), Prof. (Dr.) Geetha Ganesan (Dean, SSCSE), Prof. (Dr.) Sudeep Varshney (HoD, CSE), Dr. Rajneesh Kumar Singh (HoD, CSA), Ashish Jain (SPOC), Dr. Sandeep Kumar (Coordinator), Dr. Rani Astya, Dr. Shikha Verma, Durgesh Kumar, Aanchal Vij, Jitendra Singh, Dr. Ramneet, Dr. Yagyesh Godiyal, Khushwant Virdi, Ashish Kumar, Kamini, and Mekhala. Their guidance, insights, and constructive feedback pushed participants to further enhance their solutions.
After a rigorous evaluation process, 45 top-performing teams were selected for the final SIH portal submissions, with an additional 5 teams waitlisted. Participants demonstrated strong creativity, technical depth, and real-world applicability, particularly in themes such as Generative AI & Machine Learning, Smart Cities & Sustainability, Healthcare & Biotech, and Agriculture & Food-Tech Solutions.
The event was also a celebration of teamwork and coordination. The student coordinators, led by Pawan Upadhyay, Yashaswini Uddavolu, Deepak, Saurav Suman, and Student Volunteers from Technova - The Technical Society of Sharda ensured smooth logistics, time management, and seamless communication between participants and faculty.
The faculty panel appreciated the high-quality solutions, noting the students’ improvement from Day 1 to Day 2 in presentation skills, problem-solving approach, and innovative thinking.
Day 2 concluded successfully with participants leaving inspired, motivated, and well-prepared to represent Sharda University at the national Smart India Hackathon 2025, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in technology-driven problem-solving.
