A Joint Campus Placement Drive being host by DAVIET at Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, December 19, 2015: DAVIET hosted a Joint Campus Placement Drive on Saturday which was conducted by Stratbeans Consulting Private Limited. It is a consultation firm involved in strategic planning and innovation. The Institution conducted the drive to provide placement for the final year students of CSE, IT ,ECE, M.Tech and MBA of the region. The drive aimed at providing a common launch pad to the students to start their careers in reputed companies. During the drive Students from as many as 18 colleges from the region participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET, welcomed the founders and representatives of Stratbeans Consulting Private Limited. He also welcomed Mr. Navdeepak Sandhu, Deputy, Training and Placement Officer, PTU Jalandhar and Mr. M S Bedi, Assistant Director, Training and Placement, PTU Jalandhar. He highlighted the fact that such drives make it easier for the students to get a good start to their professional careers while the companies get talented and dedicated workforce. He stated that in todays competitive world we need to dream big and then give our hundred percent to realize those dreams. He also advised the students that they should always say yes and never say no to a challenge. He advised the students to give their best to impress the HR executives and hoped that large number of students will get placed through this drive.
Mr. Sushil Prashar, Training and Placement Officer of DAVIET, welcomed Stratbeans Consulting Private Limited and the participants in the joint campus placement drive. He stated that during this drive students will be tested through an aptitude test, followed by a technical test and an interview. He informed that the company is looking for software analysts and he hoped that it will get the requisite number of students from this drive. He wished the students the best of luck and hoped that they will make it big in the corporate world.
The drive ended in the evening with intense rounds of testing the students for the their aptitude and technical skills.
