DAV University B.Pharm. Student and NCC Cadet Secures Second Position in Inter Group Sports Shooting Competition
Bringing laurels to DAV University, NCC Cadet Twinkle, a student of B.Pharm., secured Second Position in the Peep Sight 3 Position (3P) Shooting Event during the PHHP&C Inter Group Sports Shooting Competition 2026, held at Chandigarh.
Jalandhar, June 16, 2026: Bringing laurels to DAV University, NCC Cadet Twinkle, a student of B.Pharm., secured Second Position in the Peep Sight 3 Position (3P) Shooting Event during the PHHP&C Inter Group Sports Shooting Competition 2026, held at Chandigarh.
The competition was organized under the aegis of the NCC Directorate Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh (PHHP&C) from 7 June to 16 June 2026 and witnessed the participation of talented NCC shooters representing various NCC Groups from across the Directorate.
Twinkle’s outstanding performance earned her a place among the shortlisted candidates for further selection at the Directorate level, reflecting her dedication, discipline, and exceptional marksmanship skills. Her achievement has brought pride and recognition to DAV University, Jalandhar, as well as 2 Punjab Battalion NCC, Jalandhar.
Congratulating the cadet on her remarkable achievement, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, DAV University, appreciated her hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. He said that such accomplishments reflect the University's commitment to nurturing talent and holistic development among students. He also extended his best wishes to Twinkle for her future endeavours and expressed confidence that she would continue to bring glory to the institution at higher levels of competition.
Prof. (Dr.) S K Arora, Registrar, DAV University, also congratulated Twinkle on her outstanding success and lauded her dedication and disciplined approach. The Registrar remarked that the achievement is a matter of immense pride for the University and exemplifies the spirit of determination, leadership, and excellence that DAV University seeks to instil in its students.
Associate NCC Officer Lt. Ahmad Husain also applauded the cadet’s achievement and expressed confidence that such accomplishments would inspire other NCC cadets to strive for excellence in sports, leadership, and national-level NCC activities.
