Darshan Singh Kular played a vital role in the establishment of cycle industry 

Ludhiana, November 5, 2022: Gurmeet Singh Kular President of the Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organization (FICO) said that Darshan Singh Kular has played an important role in the development of the cycle industry as well as the industrial development of Ludhiana and in the innovating the new products and researching and improving various products related to cycle industry, he is also known as a technocrat.

Gurmeet Singh Kular said that foundation day is celebrated by Darshan Kular Group on 5th November because on this day in 1939 S. Darshan Singh Kular was born in the house of Sardar Ratan Singh and Mata Sant Kaur. In 1955 after passing 10th from GGN Khalsa School Gurusar, Sudhar; Kular brothers came to Ludhiana. In the year 1956, Kular Brothers set up their business and started manufacturing bicycle mudguards at rental unit M/s Devki Nandan & Sons. In 1962, they started their own unit M/s Kular Cycle industries, where first they developed the machinery and then started the production of bicycles mudguards & rims. 

He said that today with the blessings of elders, the names of various products of Kular Group are famous all over the world and the products of their companies are well-liked in the country and abroad.
