The immensely talented actor Himanshu Malhotra is ruling the hearts of viewers with his latest suspense thriller ‘Mauka Ya Dhokha’ streaming now on the Hungama app. A series that is based on the life story of a common man Amit Sehgal (played by Himanshu), who is trapped on the road to hell is turning out to be one of the most loved and critically appreciated shows. It is for the first time that Himanshu is featured in such an enthralling role on Hungama, whereas his wife Amruta did ‘Damaged’ in the year 2018 as her debut on the OTT platform. In a candid conversation the supremely brilliant actor shares more about his character, the reaction of his wife to the intimate scenes, with a heartfelt message to his fans.

Talking about his wife Amruta, Himanshu said, “I don’t know what this is but It’s like parallel events happening but taking place sometime later. She was the one who did “Damaged” web series for Hungama as the platform’s first original series, and I am doing ‘Mauka Ya Dhokha’ and this is my first stint with them.”

Speaking about Amruta’s reaction to the bold scenes in the show he adds, “She just said, ‘You are looking good, Himmi’, I think this is because we have been in the industry for almost 19 years, and so the way we treat other scenes is how this has been treated. I keep saying, as long as there is no malice in your heart and soul it’s absolutely okay, once the intent goes haywire, that’s where things go wrong.”
