The Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama on Sunday coming out of Gaggal Airport in Dharamsala on his return from USA after two weeks.

Dharamsala, March 10, 2014: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has returned here from USA after two weeks on Sunday.
His statement on gay marriage while speaking during an interview with American talk show host Larry King, got attention of people worldwide. In his statement he said that if two people, a couple, really feel that way, it’s more practical, more satisfaction, and both sides fully agree, then okay.
Further, on being asked whether same-sex marriage should be universally accepted, the Dalai Lama said that it’s up to the country’s law. However, he added people should still follow their own religions’ rules on spirituality.
On his return here on Sunday, he was given warm welcome by his devotees at Gaggal Airport. The Dalai Lama’s upcoming schedule included Teachings in Dharamsala, on March 16. He will will give a short teaching from the Jataka Tales in the morning at the Main Tibetan Temple on that particular day. On March 20, the Dalai Lama will give a talk on Success, Ethics and Happiness in the afternoon at Lady Shri Ram College for Women. On May 5 and 6, he will give two-day teachings on the Heart Sutra (sherab nyingpo) & Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva (laklen sodunma) at the request of a group of Russians. From May 30 to June 2, he will give teaching Introductory Teachings on Buddhism organised by Nalanda Shiksha in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
