Dalai Lama has no plan to travel abroad in near future; Considers to conduct Kal Chakra in Dharamshala

Dharamshala, February 24, 2019: A delegation of Hotel and restaurant association of Dharamshala along with some other dignitaries of the area , lead by Sandeep Sharma Deputy Commissioner , met H H the Dalai Lama at his residence on Monday and requested him to conduct a Kal Chakra in Dharamshala in near future.

Talking to this correspondent about this meet Ashwani Bamba and Sanjeev Gandhi, President and the secretary of Hotel and restaurant association of Dharamshala, said that they informed the Dalai Lama that the city has sufficient infrastructure in terms of space for holding Kal Chakra Pooja at Police Ground.

Gandhi said, “We informed him that the city has enough hotel inventory, roads, lights, sanitation, transportation and surrounding area already exist for the smooth conduct of this proposed pooja.”

He said that the Dalai Lama informed that he has no plan to travel abroad in near future and will stay at Dharamshala only. Dalai Lama said, “4-5 short and spring teachings are already planed in Dharamshala and if health permits I will defiantly think of holding a Kal Chakra at Dharamshala.”

Association thanked Dalai Lama for considering their request and told His Holiness that they will leave no stone unturned to coordinate with concerned organisations and the government agencies in assuring the success of the event.
