Dharamshala, October 10, 2026: Following yesterday’s announcement, the Dalai Lama has written today from his residence in Dharamshala, to Navi Pillay to congratulate her on being named this year’s recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of her efforts to promote peace and international law. “You have devoted your life to the cause of people around the world who are denied their rights,” he wrote.
