Cyclothon by Petroleum Conservation Research Association in Patiala on Mar 22

Patiala, March 21, 2022: Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) under Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt of India is organizing a Cyclothon in Patiala on March 22, to celebrate the ‘Azadi Ka Mahotsav’ and spread awareness on cycling for the benefit of health and also for conservation of fuel.

‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive Independent India. As part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ countrywide programs are being organized. 

Sanjeev Kumar Verma, Additional Director, PCRA Chandigarh, informed that the Cycle Rally will be flagged off from Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala at 6 am in the august presence of Chief Guest, Chander Gaind IAS, Divisional Commissioner of Patiala. Sandeep Hans IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Patiala,  Sandeep Kumar Garg IPS, SSP Patiala, and Principal of Multani Mal College Patiala and other distinguished guests. 

The rally will be flagged off by Chander Gaind IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Patiala at 6 am. The route for the cyclothon will be around 4 km.
