CWG: Malaika wins India silver in 10m air pistol

Glasgow, July 25 (IANS) Shooter Malaika Goel won India its fourth silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, finishing second behind Singapore's Shun Xie Teo in the women's 10-metre air pistol at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre here Friday.

With a total of 197.1 points, the 16-year-old gave India its first medal from shooting at the Glasgow Games.

Canada's Dorothy Ludwig took bronze.

Meanwhile, former World No.1 Heena Sidhu finished a disappointing seventh with a score of 95.8 points in the same event.
