Culture Fest Organised at Dikshant Global and Dikshant International Schools on weekend

Zirakpur, May 27, 2019: Theatre is a strong medium of communication. In order to develop dramatic skills and promote acting ability among students, Dikshant Global School and Dikshant International School organised Inter house Cultural Fests to promote Drama Competition.
All the houses of twin schools participated in this unique competition.
The Chairman of Dikshant Schools Mitul Dikshit said twin events brought out the importance of dramatics in the overall development of children during their formative years. All the performances were of a high standard and were highly appreciated.
The students and teachers of Dikshant schools played a stellar role in the organization and administration of this competition. Dikshant Global students displayed theatrical adaptations of works of some famous writers like Stanley Houghton and Oscar Wilde, while Rabindra and Vivekanand Houses of Dikshant International took away the trophy for the best play . The plays enacted were based on the famous fairy tales, however with a twist. All houses introduced audience to the reinvented female characters Rapunzal, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and snow white who receive an empowerment makeover. The stories were adapted from the book girls to the rescue by Sowmya Rajendran.
