CT World School organizes Sports Meet ‘Enthusia 2019’

Jalandhar, February 25, 2019: CT World School celebrated sports day by holding an annual sports meet “Enthusia 2019” with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The program began with the releasing of balloons and declaration by Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, CT Group, Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman and Madhu Sharma, Principal which filled the hearts of everyone with the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath followed by the school song. The students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant events. They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. The Kata and Kumite display, Golf display filled the hearts of parents with pride. They were delighted to see their stars performing with such energy. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students and parents competed in events including lemon and spoon race, backward race, puzzle race, hurdle race, balance the ball, sack race and many more. The pre – primary enthralled the audience with their fun – filled races which included Jalebi race, Animal race, Frog race and Honey Bee Race. Students who competed under different races and have bagged the medals are Harfateh (Gold, KG 1),Harsahib(Gold, KG2), Dhruv Sharma (Gold, IV), Sehajleen( Gold, V), Jashanpreet ( Gold, VII), Avni( Silver, Kg1), Kanisha( Silver, Kg2), Jastaj(Silver, IV), Meenal( Silver, VI), Damanjot (Silver, VI), Prabhasees ( Broze, Kg1), Akaalpreet( Bronze, Kg2), Pratham( Bronze, IV), Anterpreet( Bronze, VI) and Gurveer( Bronze, V) Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group graced the occasion with his presence, encouraged students and parents for their wonderful performances. Madhu Sharma, Principal CT World remarked that a school without games and sports is unthinkable, as these have become an integral element of present-day education and such events discovers the inner talent of a child and helps in inculcating the values of sportsmanship, leadership and unity.
