Jalandhar, July 8, 2026: The campuses of CT World School and CT Public School came alive with laughter, excitement, and cheerful reunions as students returned after their summer vacation. Both schools welcomed their young learners with thoughtfully curated activities that created a joyful atmosphere, helping students reconnect with their friends, teachers, and the spirit of learning as they embarked on a new academic session.

At CT World School, teachers across different grades organised engaging classroom activities to make the first day memorable and enjoyable. Students of Grades I and II were delighted to receive colourful handmade bookmarks personalised with their names, turning the welcome into a fun-filled treasure hunt. The Primary Wing participated in interactive word-guessing games, hand-eye coordination activities, and classroom discussions where students enthusiastically shared their summer vacation experiences, memorable moments, and new skills they had acquired during the break. The activities promoted confidence, communication, teamwork, and a smooth transition back to school.

At CT Public School, the day began with a special morning assembly and prayer seeking the Almighty's blessings for a successful and enriching academic year. Students were warmly welcomed by Principal Ms. Manisha Basnet and the faculty before participating in a vibrant Red Carpet Walk that made every child feel valued and celebrated. Interactive classroom sessions encouraged students to express their dreams, aspirations, and memorable vacation experiences, while creative craft activities added colour and excitement to the celebrations.

As part of the ongoing Van Mahotsav celebrations, CT Public School also organized a tree plantation drive on the campus, encouraging students to embrace environmental responsibility and contribute towards a greener future. Students pledged to nurture the planted saplings and adopt eco-friendly practices, reinforcing the message that every tree planted today is an investment in a healthier tomorrow.

Across both schools, classrooms buzzed with enthusiasm as students happily reunited with their peers and teachers, creating an atmosphere filled with positivity, curiosity, and excitement for the year ahead.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Arti Jaswal of CT World School said, "The first day of school is always special. Our aim was to make every child feel welcomed, valued, and excited about learning. Through these engaging activities, we wanted to create a joyful environment that inspires curiosity, confidence, and a love for coming to school every day."

Principal Manisha Basnet of CT Public School said, "The beginning of a new academic session brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve. By creating a welcoming and engaging environment from the very first day, we encourage our students to return with renewed enthusiasm, embrace every learning opportunity, and continue striving for excellence in academics as well as co-curricular activities."

The celebrations marked a vibrant beginning to the new academic session, reflecting the shared commitment of CT World School and CT Public School to providing a nurturing, engaging, and holistic learning environment. Through innovative classroom experiences, meaningful interactions, and value-based activities, both schools continue to inspire students to become confident learners, responsible citizens, and compassionate individuals.
