CT World School and CT Public School Celebrate the Spirit of Leadership at Grand Investiture Ceremonies

CT World School and CT Public School celebrated the spirit of leadership and responsibility through their respective Investiture Ceremonies, formally investing the newly elected Student Councils for the academic session. The ceremonies reflected the institutions’ commitment to nurturing confident, disciplined and responsible leaders.

Jalandhar, July 18, 2026: CT World School and CT Public School celebrated the spirit of leadership and responsibility through their respective Investiture Ceremonies, formally investing the newly elected Student Councils for the academic session. The ceremonies reflected the institutions’ commitment to nurturing confident, disciplined and responsible leaders.
At CT World School, the ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge, wisdom and hope, followed by the inspiring rendition of the CT World School Song. The event was graced by Tanika Channi, Joint Managing Director, CT Group, as the Guest of Honour.
The four Houses—Aryabhatta, Ramanujan, Einstein and Archimedes—presented a magnificent march past, showcasing discipline, confidence and teamwork.
The newly appointed School Main Council comprised Head Boy Jaskaran (Grade XII Commerce), Head Girl Gursimran (Grade XII Commerce), Literary Captain Anandi (Grade XII Non-Medical), Literary Vice-Captain Jhanvi (Grade XI Non-Medical), School Maestro Sohal (Grade XI Medical), Sports Captain Shivaansh (Grade XII Commerce), and Sports Vice-Captain Deepak (Grade XI Commerce). Along with the House Councils, they took the oath of office and pledged to lead with integrity, compassion and dedication. The presence of proud parents made the occasion even more memorable.
Meanwhile, CT Public School organised its Annual Investiture Ceremony with equal grandeur. The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a graceful invocation dance. It was graced by Vice Chairman Mr. Harpreet Singh, Campus Director, CT Group of Institutions , Maqsudan, Dr. Anurag Sharma, Principal Manisha Basnet, Kindergarten Coordinator Suman Bhalla, distinguished guests and proud parents.
The solemn badge-pinning ceremony marked the official induction of the Student Council. The newly elected office bearers included School Secretary Atinder Kaur (XII Humanities), School Cultural Head Harshita Gupta (XII Humanities), Head Boy Hriday Soni (XII Science), Head Girl Shaina Mohan (XII Science), Vice Head Boy Rudraksh (XI Commerce), Vice Head Girl Avni Arora (XI Science), Activity Captain (Girls) Tushti Gupta (XII Science), Activity Captain (Boys) Anuraag Makkar (XII Commerce), Sports Captain (Girls) Suhana Bhalla (XI Humanities), Sports Captain (Boys) Lakshay Sharma (XI Science), Discipline Captain (Girls) Tejal Sharma (XI Science), Discipline Captain (Boys) Jay Jangid (XI Science), Literary Captain (Senior) Jaskirat Kaur (XII Humanities), and Literary Captain (Junior) Dhruv Mago (Class VIA).
Student leaders from the four houses—APJ Abdul Kalam House, Mother Teresa House, Kalpana Chawla House and Nelson Mandela House—were also formally invested as House Captains, Vice House Captains, Activity Captains, Sports Captains and House Prefects.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Arti Jaswal encouraged the young leaders of CT World School to uphold the ethos of the institution, reminding them that true leadership lies not in authority but in responsibility, character and service.
Principal Manisha Basnet congratulated the newly inducted Student Council of CT Public School and emphasised that genuine leadership is reflected through discipline, accountability, teamwork and the ability to inspire others. She expressed confidence that the student leaders would uphold the school’s values and contribute significantly to its continued excellence.
Congratulating the newly elected council members, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh urged them to lead with integrity, dedication and humility, reminding them that leadership is a responsibility to serve and inspire rather than a position of privilege.
Both ceremonies concluded with the oath-taking of the newly elected leaders and the National Anthem, inspiring students to carry forward the legacy of their respective schools with responsibility, excellence and pride.
