CT University’s NSS Wing organized cleanliness drive

Ludhiana, August 12, 2022: CT University organized Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as the opening Ceremony of the event Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, on 75th Independence anniversary of India. This event organized by the department of NSS with much enthusiasm and active Participation of the higher authorities, staff members, and students.

The program started with a motivational speech by Pre-Chancellor, Dr Manbir Singh and Rajni Berry, officiating Principal. The NSS Coordinators worked as the main lead, where they addressed the students and teachers to become a part of this campaign and contribute their efforts to make the drive a big success. After that, all participants launched a cleanliness drive by collecting dry waste from all over the campus and took the pledge on Cleanliness. This drive was organized under the supervision of Er Navdeep Singh, Assistant Prof. and NSS Program Officer and Dr Parvin Kumar, Director of Sports, CT University.

Dr. Manbir Singh, Pro chancellor, CT University, motivated the participants with their worthy suggestions and golden experiences. He also said that cleaning the surrounding is our social responsibility for which cleaning should not be a single day event but a part of life.  Sarghi Kaur Barring, Assistant Prof.  and   Coordinator Cultural Affairs  has coordinated the whole event.
