CT University’s Department of Student Welfare organized Lohri celebrations for the faculty. With a bonfire, folk songs, bhangra, games, and a DJ party, the faculty celebrated Lohri. The main attraction of the event was a Potluck Lunch in which every faculty member made different dishes, fostering a sense of community as they enjoyed the meal together.

Ludhiana 12 January 2024: CT University’s Department of Student Welfare organized Lohri celebrations for the faculty. With a bonfire, folk songs, bhangra, games, and a DJ party, the faculty celebrated Lohri. The main attraction of the event was a Potluck Lunch in which every faculty member made different dishes, fostering a sense of community as they enjoyed the meal together.

Davinder Singh, Director , Department of Student Welfare, said, “Lohri is celebrated before the arrival of warmer weather and the Harvesting Season. It is a way to spread joy amidst songs, dance, and food.”

Dr. Manbir Singh, Pro Chancellor of CT University, said, “It is important to keep our traditions alive, and Lohri is one of those traditional festivals that is celebrated together by communities.”

Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi appreciated the efforts of the team and wished everyone a Happy Lohri. On this occasion all the heads of the schools and faculty members were present.
