Multimedia and Animation department, School of Design and Innovation, CT University, Ludhiana organized a competition "VISIONARY 2022".The competition was bifurcated into two events: Digital logo designing and Short Movie.

Ludhiana, July 14, 2022: Multimedia and Animation department, School of Design and Innovation, CT University, Ludhiana organized a competition "VISIONARY 2022".The competition was bifurcated into two events: Digital logo designing and Short Movie.

The topic for Logo Designing was CT degree College and book cover and for Short movie was selected by the students itself. The winner for Digital Logo Designing was Harshit Bhardwaj followed by 1st runner up Kundan Kumar and 2nd runner up Harshpreet Kaur.

In Short movie the winner team chose the topic“Best friend”. It was a story about two best friends. It also highlights the social topic like ragging. The winner were Ankit, Mandeep, Albin Babu,Prince, Amar , Siddhant and Dhavanpreet. The story line for the runner up team was on Love and Money named “Blind Faith”. It was a story portraying  betray in love and also focused on today’s scenario of people being selfish. Gurveer, Rajbir Singh, Harsimran, Sparsh, Harshpreet, Sukhman, Dilbhag and Balkar Singh were the runner’s up.

The event was successfully managed by Coordinator of the school Sandeep Singh, Assistant Prof. , Manpreet Kaur And Assistant Prof. Kunal Garg  and of Multimedia and Animation Department  .This was to highlight creativity of students. This will help them to understand industry work as they used different software like Adobe illustrator, Photoshop and Corel Draw for logo making. For Short movie they used  Software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice-Chancellor, CT University awarded the winners  and said that  now is the time for social media due to which a lot of ads, short films, music videos are being made in large numbers every day. So we can say that today is the time for multimedia students.
