CT University organizes Youth Cultural Exchange Program  

Ludhiana, April 24, 2023: CT University and CT Group of Institutions Shahpur hosts 60 Mizoram students to cultivate an understanding of Punjab's heritage, customs, cultural practices, and history. The youth exchange was accomplished because of the tireless efforts of CT Group's Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, and Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh.
 
CT Group and CT University understands its societal and cultural obligation to promote Punjab's education, placement records, and lifestyle. To fulfill this obligation this program came into existence to spread awareness through hands-on experience. Students experienced Punjab's hospitality and warmth through various activities.
 
They were an audience at a sporting volleyball match on the Shahpur campus, a cultural event was organized to introduce them to Punjab's singing and dancing traditions, and they explored the Golden Temple. They visited the Wagah border and experienced local patriotism. They also visited various historical sites in the city.
 
For exposure and experience, a campus visit was organized as well which included visits to Robotic Lab, Bosch Lab, Moot Court, etc. Deputy Director Admissions Rupali & Ankush Mahajan interacted with the students and gave the glimpse of CT University.
 
The youth exchange program was undertaken to strengthen relations and boost cultural ties and mutual understanding among various states. Using this platform students were exposed to educational standards, the living environment, varied food habits, and Punjab's colorful traditions. Students were given practical information and experience of various agricultural techniques followed by farmers.

All expenses including accommodation and travel were borne by the university.

Pro-Chancellor of CT University, Dr. Manbir Singh pointed out the significance of such exchanges by saying, “Demonstrating Punjab’s culture and heritage is inherent to our duties and CT Group will always promote and solidify inter-state relations through such thoughtful and unique programs.
