CT University organises HR Conclave 2020

Ludhiana:  CT University, Ludhiana in association with CertifID, Wills Solutions and Coca Cola organised HR Conclave 2020 in which more than 50 experts across nation participated. The highlights were 04 keynote speakers, 04 panel sessions and more than 20 panellists sharing their experiences under one roof. The Chief Guest for the day remained Dr. Ankita Singh, Vice President & Global Head, HR Admin, Travel & IT Cignex Datamatics, whereas Guest of Honour was Advocate Vikrant Rana, Director, Legal Cell Punjab International Human Rights.

The event was inaugurated with the lamp lighting in the presence of Charanjit Singh Channi, Chancellor; Dr Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor; Heads of Schools; Chief Guest, guest of honour and other esteemed guests. The speakers included names like Michael Wild, Director, Certif-Id; Dr. Ankita Singh, Vice President & Global Head, HR Admin, Travel & IT Cignex Datamatics; Dr Ankur Sodhi, Associate Director: Career Services & Corporate Relations, Upgrade Education Pvt. Ltd.; and Rahul Ahuja, Chairman CII Punjab; Managing Director, Rajnish Industries Pvt. Ltd., Rajnish Industries etc.

The key note sessions for the occasion were ‘Benefits of up skilling and the new talent pipeline’, Industry 4.0 and the impact on the HR Function’, Importance of HR in bridging the gap between GenX and Gen Y’ and Navigating the technology-impacted workplace’.
The topics for panel discussion included: ‘Can HR be replaced by AI?’, ‘Digital disruption of on-campus recruitment’, ‘Happiness factor in organisational sustainability’, Crafting the HR Tech Roadmap.’

Guest of Honour, Dr Ankita Singh said, “Communication is the first and foremost element in strengthening Human Resource. The function of business communication includes sharing information and motivating workers.”

Through panel discussions, the experts provided practical know how to the students and shared their industry experiences & challenges prevailing in the current scenario of the corporate world.”
